| A barren wasteland. The remnants of skeletons of other hollows are embeded into this white sand. Pieces of the former massive Las Noches are scattered throughout the sands nearby the bulding as well.

| A seemingly thick forest of dead trees that is situated underneath Hueco Mundo's very sands. It is home to large Gillian Menos Hollows and ruled by a group of Adjuchas. After Las Noches' fall, most of its inhabitants have been in a power struggle, as the Espada were no longer there to control them.

The country's soft climate is the main reason for its prosperity, as harvests can be collected twice a year, and natural disasters are rare. The borders of the Country of Fire are guarded safe by a large army, and the many shinobi from Konohagakure no Sato, which is considered the strongest ninja village in the world.

Somewhere deep in the desert Sunagakure no Sato is hidden. Throughout its history Sunagakure no Sato has remained isolated except during the second great war when it assisted Konoha and their Hokage, Sasiko Gonati, is destroying Otogakure.

| The Earth Country is one of the larger ninja countries and part of the Five Great Shinobi Nations, sharing borders with Waterfall, Grass, Rain and several unnamed countries. Because of Hidden Rock's warlike tendencies against the Fire Country, their invasion path leads them through smaller countries like Grass. It is said that most of it's terrain is mountainous and hard to traverse. There was once a bridge connecting the Earth Country to Kusa no Kuni (Grass Country) called the Kannabi Bridge which was a straight route to Konoha. During the Great War with Konoha, the bridge was destroyed, attributing to their defeat and cutting off their major supply line.

| The Land of Lightning and is one of the Five Great Shinobi Nations that contains the hidden village of Kumogakure. It is composed of numerous mountain ranges. It is located on a high mountain, literally hidden in the clouds. The leader of the village is known as the Raikage. Located in the northeast, the Country of Lightning is mostly a mountainous area; it shares one border with an unknown country, while the rest of the country is marked by a long coast line. It is one of the Five Great Countries, and in the central-west side of the country lies one of the more powerful ninja villages, the Village Hidden in the Clouds, itself situated in the mountains among the clouds.

| These countries are too small to be considered one of the 5 great countries and have either poverty, criminal or just military issues. These countries depend on outsiders for protection, a source of income or just as a set base for their operations. These countries live outside the rules of the great 5, but function with a Lords or Mayors as primary Law Enforcers, which makes it usually friend places for Missing-nin to convene without the hassle of hunt.

| | The jutsu placed here lets the living see the dead, this area used to be the claim of the akatsuki, but in there down fall, it was in control of the hidden land, and there, ninjas fight the dead souls.

| The Akatsuki's base is here, inside is a room respecting each of the leaders, and a room containing there records and the original statue of the great god of destruction. When a soul enters, they are visible to the akatsuki thanks to there jutsu placed in the entrance. Here the dead and the akatsuki can fight.

| Karakura Town is a city in Western Tokyo in the Human World, where the story of Bleach began. It is also the home town of Ichigo Kurosaki. It seems to be a small city with an average population where the everyday humans are unaware of the ghosts and spiritual forces. Karakura Town is referred to as District 3600 by the Shinigami and is situated on the current "juureichi" - the point in the Human World that possess the greatest concentration of spiritual beings. Sōsuke Aizen once seeked to destroy Karakura Town to make a copy of the King's Key.
